Add Connection

Confidentiality is our key concern.

Connections are protected information. Only you have access to your connections.


Connections can be used both as a shortcut to your contact's Profile and as a way to grant privilege to your contact on your Profile.

You can send a connection request to your contact. The connection will remain pending until your contact confirms the connection request. After a short period, you may revive the connection request. Once accepted, the connection is established.

When sending or accepting a connection request you can assign private/public (or blacklisted) level of confidence to share your private/public data with your contact (if you do not blacklist this contact).


When adding a connection, if not blacklisted your contact will be informed via the following pre-formatted E-mail:

From: your First Name, Last Name, E-mail address

To: E-mail address of your contact

Subject: Visitor Guest has added you as a Business Connection on YESweBIZ™

I've added you as a Business Connection on YESweBIZ™. Can you confirm the Connection Request ?

1st step - Export contacts into a CSV file


  • Open or sign in your contacts management application
  • Export your contacts as .CSV File (menu 'Export' or 'Save as')
  • On the 'File' menu click 'Import and Export'
  • Click 'Export to a file', and then click 'Next'
  • Click 'Comma Separated Values (Windows)', and then click 'Next'
  • In the folder list, click the 'Contacts' folder, and then click 'Next'
  • Browse to the folder where you want to save the contacts as .CSV File
  • Type a name for the exported file, and then click 'OK'
  • Click 'Next', then click 'Finish'
  • sign in Yahoo! MAIL, then click tab 'Contacts', you are in page Yahoo! CONTACTS
  • Click 'Tools', 'Export' at the upper menu.
  • Click 'Export Now' at the right of 'Yahoo! CSV'
  • Clear logs

2nd step - Read CSV file

Contacts File
Accepted file Extensions: csv, txt.

Uploading contacts consist of describing the structure of the CSV File:
1 - Indicate if the first row of the CSV file contains column names or data.
2 - Indicate in which columns (column number) 'First Name', 'Last Name' and 'E-mail' are located.

Example of CSV file
First name,Last name,E-mail,
James,Bond,james.bond@yeswebiz.com,
John,Smith,john.smith@yeswebiz.com,
Barbara,Wallace,barbara.wallace@yeswebiz.com,

In the above example, the CSV file consists of three columns that are comma separated.
The first row indicates column names.
Column First Name: 1
Column Last Name: 2
Column E-mail: 3

Blacklisted Connection i.e. cannot perceive your presence or view your data.

Public Connection i.e. can view public data.

Private Connnection i.e. can also view private data.


BLACKLISTS

Blacklists prevent access to lists of people that are not in your connections.

Eg.1.: All Members from a company.

Eg.2.: Anybody who is not yet a YESweBIZ™ Member.

Eg.3.: All Members that are not in your connections.

Build your Blacklists from tab 'Blacklists' in menu 'My Contacts'.

Blacklisted Connection i.e. cannot perceive your presence or view your data.

Public Connection i.e. can view public data.

Private Connnection i.e. can also view private data.
